About the Role
The primary role of a Lead Consultant is to take the lead on projects aimed at improving our clients’ businesses. This involves leveraging the Argon & Co toolkit, creative thinking and good business practice. In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of the projects and/or workstreams and the people you lead.
We are looking for someone who loves solving problems, simplifying the complex, and has a genuine interest in manufacturing and supply chain. You will thrive in a diverse work environment, comfortably engaging with people across all levels of an organization, from the shop floor to the boardrooms.
This role can be based out of either Sydney or Melbourne.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver operational improvement projects on client sites focusing on manufacturing and supply chain value streams
- Lead end to end supply chain transformations and change management initiatives
- Deliver customer proposals and presentations
- Lead, develop and mentor team members within the organisation
- Support sales and networking initiatives by identifying and communicating opportunities for repeat business (on-sell and cross-sell).
- Coach clients (mid-management down)
- Analyse data and processes to find opportunities, and present them to clients
- Support and drive the implementation of opportunities with client teams
- Shape and lead assignments and accounts with support from the leadership team
What you will need to succeed:
- A degree in Engineering, Science, or a comparable field with a focus on numerical and analytical disciplines
- Operational experience with a recognisable international organisation
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience across industry or supply chain consulting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to set and meet deadlines, for both yourself and your team
- Effective at leading, managing and coaching people
- Have strong analytical capability
- Work experience in manufacturing in FMCG or similar environments.
This role requires a willing to travel across Australia.
