About the Role

Join our experienced Project Controls team as a Senior Planner/Scheduler, embedded within a multidisciplinary Planning & Delivery team providing Project Management & Contract Administration (PMCA) services to our Defence client.

You’ll take ownership of the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for a major Defence facilities and infrastructure program, ensuring alignment across design, construction, and stakeholder milestones. You’ll work closely with project managers, risk leads, cost controllers, and contractors to deliver a fully integrated, risk-aware schedule that supports informed decision-making and project success.

This role is based in Perth, Subiaco with regular travel to Garden Island, WA.

What you’ll be doing

  • Develop, maintain, and analyse the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) using Primavera P6.
  • Integrate sub-schedules from contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Import and clean schedules in P6 while maintaining data integrity and controlled access.
  • Identify risks and opportunities, propose mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with the cost team to align schedules with budgets and cashflows.
  • Support the Risk Lead with schedule impact analysis and forecasting.
  • Provide high-quality schedule inputs and analysis for internal and client reporting.

What you need to succeed

  • 7–10 years of experience in planning/scheduling, preferably within Defence, or building and infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project lifecycles.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.
  • Australian citizenship with the ability to obtain Baseline or NV1 security clearance.
