Argon & Co buys performance improvement consultancy Bevington Group
Adding to its growing list of acquisitions in the ANZ region, Argon & Co has acquired Bevington Group, a 40-person consultancy specialised in performance improvement and operational excellence.
Since its founding in 1993, Bevington Group has grown into one of Australia’s leading consultancies for operating model design, restructuring, process reengineering, and lean services. The firm operates with three offices across the East coast (Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne) and works for clients such as banks, manufactures, retailers, agribusinesses, governments, and more.
Commenting on the deal, Paul Eastwood, Managing Partner of Argon & Co in Asia Pacific, said: “The addition of Bevington Group will not only strengthen our footprint across the ANZ market but also enhance our ability to deliver cutting-edge solutions to our clients. With their expertise in operating model design, restructuring, and digital transformation, coupled with our capabilities, we are in a strong position to offer a truly unique and comprehensive service.”
With the deal wrapped up, Argon & Co now has over 200 consultants in Australia and New Zealand across offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Auckland and Canberra.
Argon & Co is a management consultancy that specialises in operations transformation, renowned for its expertise in strategic operations, supply chain, procurement and shared services. The firm operates worldwide, with its ANZ business among its largest regional verticals, following an acquisition campaign that has seen five other closings in the past three years, including Caliba and Pollen Consulting Group.
“We are excited to join Argon & Co and be part of a forward-thinking business that shares our passion for making a real difference for clients and our commitment to developing our staff. Our service offering to clients will continue to grow and the universe of opportunities for the team will be even greater,” said Roger Perry, CEO and Managing Director of Bevington Group and now a partner at Argon & Co.
Jean-François Laget, Group Managing Director of Argon & Co, stated: “This marks another significant milestone in Argon & Co’s expansion strategy. Bevington Group are experts in their field and have made a big impact in Australia and New Zealand with an impressive set of credentials. We are pleased that they have joined us and will be adding value to our clients not only in the region, but on a global scale.”
Argon & Co was founded in 2001 in France, where it still is headquartered. The firm operates under its current brand since 2020, which was introduced around a year after it completed its milestone merger with Crimson & Co. Argon & Co is backed by a European investment firm.
