Scyne Advisory promotes seven managing directors across states and practices

Having recently bedded down its executive and governance teams, public sector consultancy Scyne Advisory has further bolstered its senior leadership through a fresh round of managing director promotions.
Equivalent to partner level, the promotions were spread across New South Wales, Victoria, the ACT, Queensland, and SA, and cover the firm’s strategy & transformation, data & digital, infrastructure, and finance, risk & cyber divisions.
Coming up on its first anniversary, the latest promotions follow a recent flurry of activity which has seen Scyne Advisory finalise its national executive and advisory leadership teams, capped by the appointment of John Ball as its first permanent CEO.

A specialist in organisational transformation and workforce strategy & change management, Tammy Foott becomes a managing director in Scyne’s Victorian strategy & transformation team after having originally joined PwC in 2007 on the completion of a commerce degree in finance and economics with the University of Melbourne.
Based in Canberra, Danny Jowers has likewise been promoted within Scyne’s strategy & transformation practice. Originally of the UK, Jowers joined PwC in 2010 after an earlier public sector policy career, and specialises in portfolio management and program delivery with a focus on the federal government and defence sectors.
Martin van Holten and Natasha Ballantyne have both been elevated in Scyne’s data & digital practice in Sydney, the latter who leads the service design and digital experience team and started out at PwC in 2016. Van Holten meanwhile joined in the area of modelling & analytics in 2014, before which he worked as a fire engineer.
Scyne’s infrastructure & property division has also seen two promotions, Chris Kennedy in NSW and Matthew Vorrasi in SA. Previously NSW energy & climate leader, Kennedy joined PwC as a director in 2021 following earlier stints at Ausgrid, Beca, and AECOM, while Vorrasi originally joined in Melbourne in 2014 via Aurecon.
Lastly, Jaynesh Narain becomes a managing director in Scyne’s cyber and technology risk team out of Brisbane, having first joined PwC from Dimension Data in 2016. Narain focuses on cyber risk management for government services, but also has experience in the power & utilities, financial services and healthcare sectors.
