US-based accounting and consulting firm BPM has launched a new international network of member firms – BPM Global – with Australia’s Enspira Financial the first to come on board.

Based out of Sydney with further outlets in Melbourne and the Philippines, Enspira Financial was established in its current guise in 2016 and has a team of around 40 practitioners providing a range of accounting and other financial services.

BPM, meanwhile, is headquartered in San Francisco with 14 offices spread across the western US states and a headcount upwards of 1,500, its revenues of around $250 million making it one of the country’s top 35 largest advisories of its kind.

“By creating this network, we’re redefining our global brand identity,” stated BPM Global chief executive Jim Wallace, a four-decade veteran of the US accounting industry who has led BPM since 2015. “Enspira’s cultural alignment and commitment to people mirrors that of BPM, our founding member. We could not be more thrilled to welcome Enspira as our first international member.”

Headed by CEO Sook Smith, Enspira Financial traces its heritage back more than 30 years under its previous Jaques Stanmore Financial Group brand, and, with a particular focus on foreign entries, serves clients across an array of industries including those in the construction, professional, and financial services sectors with a full suite of offerings covering accounting, audit, tax and consulting,

“We’re proud to take this next step in delivering even greater value to our clients, strengthening our ability to provide forward-thinking solutions and international expertise while remaining true to what matters most: trusted, high-quality advice tailored to our client’s needs.” Enspira Financial stated. “With access to a global network, we’re now expanding our opportunities, insights, and resources.”

BPM, which alongside Enspira Financial is an independent member of accounting & advisory association Allinial Global and will continue to be so, said the launch of its own global network was aimed at supporting the operations and cross-border activities of its multinational clients under a single, trusted brand, so that they could rely on the delivery of reliable, high-quality support abroad.

Wallace also happens to chair Allinial Global – billed as of one of the world’s biggest associations of its kind alongside the likes of Praxity and PrimeGlobal – in a position previously held by Enspira international partner Craig Stanmore (see above for name recognition) and includes current Bentleys A/NZ chief executive officer Tony Sacre as a board member and vice-chair.
