The Australian and New Zealand branches of accounting and consulting network PKF have rebooted the PKF Digital brand with the launch of a new online ‘shopfront’.

Led by Sydney-based partner Don Mclean and emerging in its current form through the 2022 merger with his co-founded advisory business OnlineOne, PKF Digital is an Oracle NetSuite specialist with a 20-year pedigree, which also delivers solutions in Xero and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

In what the firm says is an effort to support the growth and productivity of businesses across the region, PKF is now rebooting the PKF Digital brand with the launch of a new online ‘shopfront’ – or standalone website – where clients can directly access its suite of strategic advisory, analytics, design, and implementation services.

“The relaunch of PKF Digital is an important development for our team,” said Australia chairman Steve Meyn. “Every day, our advisors help businesses in their growth journey, and invariably that involves the delivery of digital solutions. Our new shopfront improves our ability to connect with businesses in the technology space, and then to provide practical or strategic solutions.”

PKF originally launched its local Netsuite-focused digital arm circa 2021. Around the same time, OnlineOne was going through its own evolution, with Mclean and fellow PKF Digital partner Craig Traub having bought the business back off Kiwi IT advisory Fronde (itself since acquired by Seisma) the year prior, after the pair had co-founded the company back in 2006.

“We are commencing the new chapter of PKF Digital focused on creating substantial improvements in business productivity, and for this reason lead with a focus on advisory to understand the challenges and opportunities unique to the business before recommending any solutions.” McLean stated. “We will continue to expand upon our service offering in line with the needs of local businesses.”

In addition to its two partners, PKF Digital has a four-strong director team; professional services director Jon Chan in Melbourne, who joined Fronde in 2017; technology assurance & advisory director Tony Corry, who previously spent fifteen years between EY and Deloitte; Matthew Dodds, a divisional director of the Gold Coast and head of intelligence & analytics, and New Zealand-based director Andrew Pullon.

On the expertise PKF Digital brings to the table, Mclean concludes, “We are not independent, we are informed. Our deliberate selection of partners is informed by our twenty years of experience in addressing the needs of organisations of all sizes. We work with, and access the rich resources of Xero, Microsoft, and Oracle, as required by and to benefit our clients.”
