Synechron launches AI solutions that enhance cybersecurity in financial services

Global consulting firm Synechron has released the latest edition of its Accelerator program, with the Cybersecurity AI Accelerator focusing on leveraging AI for enhanced digital security.

The 14th Accelerator overall for the financial services consultancy, the Cybersecurity AI Accelerator offers four AI-driven solutions that help organisations to boost enterprise security, streamline compliance, and reduce risk exposure through automation and intelligence.

“The Cybersecurity AI Accelerator aims to give companies the tools to anticipate and address security challenges before they become crises," said Sandeep Kumar, Head of FinLabs at Synechron. “We provide a framework for businesses to integrate AI into their security strategies, which in turn makes risk management more proactive and effective.”

The four AI-driven solutions are:

RiskControl.AI: Automates IT risk management, offering real-time control assessments and compliance insights.
AppSec.AI: Provides a unified view of security vulnerabilities, streamlining risk prioritisation and remediation.
Resolve.AI: Categorises and manages application and security incidents, providing prioritsed responses and system reliability.
Validate.AI: Safeguards GenAI models by implementing industry guardrails including detecting prompt injection, data and privacy leakage, and insecure output handling.

With more than 14,000 staff in around 60 offices around the world, Synechron is one of the largest business and technology consulting firms dedicated to the financial services industry. The company launched its Accelerator program a few years ago, and has since then developed specific suites for areas such as regulation, finance, financial crime, compliance, and payments.
