Kristian Hanlon joins leadership team of Business Aspect

Business and technology consultancy Business Aspect has brought Kristian Hanlon on board to lead its operations in New South Wales.

The role will see Hanlon manage Business Aspect’s local team – the firm has New South Wales offices in Canberra and Sydney – and serve as the region’s liaise with parent company, Data#3. The Australian IT services company bought the consultancy for $6 million in 2014, and since Business Aspect has been operating as an autonomous subsidiary. 

Business Aspect’s roughly 80-strong team of consultants and technologists help clients in a range of industries with services including strategy & operations, innovation, risk & compliance, cybersecurity, digitisation and technology delivery.

In particular the latter offerings in the area of digital transformation are in high demand in the New South Wales region, said David Lennon, Managing Partner of Business Aspect, who added that Kristian Hanlon has the credentials and skills to lead the expansion.

Hanlon brings over two decades of experience to the role. Most recently, he led Sydney-based Oakton (a subsidiary of NTT) and previously was a Director at digital transformation consulting firms Enterprise Architects and FromHereOn. Before that, he worked nearly fifteen years for SMS Management and Technology and CGI (at the time operating as Logica).

As part of his role, Hanlon will join Business Aspect’s senior leadership team, which further consists of David Lennon, Brendon Taylor, Carsten Larsen, David Smith, Greg Field, Janet Brimson, Mark Watt, Peter Jarrett and Ian Christie.

Business Aspect's other offices are based in Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide.
