Vincents promotes five to equity partner and director

Professional services firm Vincents has added three new equity partners – Victor Uson, Gavin Dudley, and Julia Bossert – while Hayley Grima and Kate Taylor have been promoted to director.

Brisbane-based pair Uson and Dudley both joined the firm within the past four years, respectively in the areas of audit & assurance and business finance, while forensic & litigation specialist Bossert has been with Vincents for close to 20 years, most recently out of Adelaide.

Vincent’s Brisbane office has also seen the elevation of Hayley Grima and Kate Taylor as directors, with the consultancy – which last year celebrated its 35th anniversary – stating that its latest round of promotions reflected its continued growth and commitment to developing leaders.

Victor Uson
Uson rejoined Vincent’s headquarters in Brisbane as a director towards the end of 2021 following an earlier stint at the firm split by four years at the Queensland Audit Office. Across his two and a half decade auditing career, which kicked off at Ernst & Young in the Philippines, Uson also spent time at PwC and Crowe in Australia prior to first joining Vincents in 2016.

Gavin Dudley
A debt advisory and lending solutions expert, Dudley likewise gained experience overseas before arriving downunder from Ireland in 2009, and prior to joining Vincents in 2022 spent four and a half years at financial services firm ScotPac before establishing the debt advisory wing of Brisbane-based corporate advisory Chessboard, which is connected to HLB Mann Judd.

Julia Bossert
Bossert joined Vincents in Brisbane from Lawler Partners (now PKF) in 2007, before shortly after going on to establish the firm’s branches and oversee their forensic accounting teams in both Canberra and Adelaide, the latter where she has been stationed since 2017. She specialises in calculating loss in personal injury, family law, and commercial litigation claims.

Hayley Grima
Promoted to director in Brisbane, Grima, too, is an expert in quantifying economic loss in the preparation of evidential reports, especially in respect to personal injury cases. Prior to her current vocation and joining Vincents just shy of a decade ago in 2015, Grima spent five years working in tax and superannuation, first at Pitcher Partners and later Hall Chadwick.

Kate Taylor
In a reversal to Grima, Taylor joined Vincent’s forensics accounting division as a Queensland University of Technology graduate in 2006, before later switching to taxation & business advisory, where from the firm’s recently revamped Brisbane office she supports individuals and SME clients across diverse sectors such as retail and hospitality with their financial requirements.
