Pitcher Partners promotes five to partner in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne

National accounting and consulting firm Pitcher Partners has made five partnership promotions across its tax, audit, wealth management, and business advisory lines in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.

Anthony Kazamias and Sean Troyahn step up as audit and private business partners in Brisbane, Lirize Loots (tax advisory) and Andrew Wilson (private wealth) have been promoted in Sydney, and Elisha Herbert becomes a tax advisory partner in Melbourne.

Pitcher Partners national chairman John Brazzale said the new partners demonstrate the network’s ongoing commitment to nurturing talent and providing specialised support for clients in an increasingly complex and regulated business landscape.

“Organisations across all sectors are facing a convergence of pressures, and this is creating a growing demand for trusted, technically astute advisors who can provide insights that are tailored, forward-looking, and grounded in a deep understanding of their business and operating environment.” Brazzale said.

Anthony Kazamias joined Pitcher Partners from Brisbane boutique DLA at the beginning of 2020, before which he spent four years at PwC. He splits his time at the firm advising private business clients in areas such as tax structuring, compliance and strategy, while also serving corporates and non-profits across a range of sectors on general and specialised employment tax matters.

Sean Troyahn has meanwhile been with the firm since graduating a commerce and accounting degree with the University of Queensland in 2013. Today he provides audit and advisory services to a diverse range of clients, including multinational and listed entities operating in sectors such as financial services, software, construction, aviation, mining, and fast-moving consumer goods.

Lirize Loots came to the firm via Baker Tilly in 2021, with an earlier decade and a half spent at PwC including time in South Africa, the US, and UK. Now she becomes a tax advisory partner in Pitcher’s Sydney office, where she specialises in transfer pricing and in particular as to risk and compliance, while also bringing to the table an earlier background in strategy consulting.

Sydney-based Andrew Wilson meanwhile brings a financial services sector background, joining Pitcher Partners in 2017 after a decade between NAB and AMP in various senior wealth management roles. His areas of expertise include investment management, debt management, tax minimisation, asset protection, and retirement and estate planning.

New Melbourne-based partner Elisha Herbert is an indirect tax specialist with a focus on GST, including as to compliance, business and asset sales and acquisitions, and ATO review and audit support for clients in sectors such retail, manufacturing, food, and most especially property. She joined Pitcher Partners in 2012 after kicking off her career with five and a half years at PKF.
