Argon & Co makes four partner promotions in Australia

Argon & Co, a global management consultancy specialising in operations strategy and supply chain, has made seven partnership promotions for 2026, with four of them – Felix Kong, Evert Westerhof, Warren Proctor and Oliver North – based in Australia.

Felix Kong is the most recent hire among the four new partners, joining in Brisbane at the end of 2023, while Evert Westerhof came on board in Melbourne earlier that year. Sydney-based pair Warren Proctor and Oliver North have been with Argon & Co since 2022 and 2017, the latter crossing with local acquisition Pollen.

“We’re delighted to welcome Felix, Evert, Warren, and Oliver to our partnership, recognising their roles in delivering digitally enabled end-to-end transformation,” said Paul Eastwood, managing partner at Argon & Co.

The quartet are joined on the global partnership promotions list by three European colleagues – Andreas Schwenzer (Hamburg), Guilhem Delorme (Paris), and Laura Magee (London) – with collective expertise spanning operations, transformation, procurement, technology, and manufacturing.

“By promoting colleagues who combine technical expertise with leadership and strategic insight, we are enhancing our ability to tackle complex client challenges, scale innovation, and drive measurable outcomes worldwide,” said Paris-based CEO Jean-François Laget. “Developing internal talent remains central to our strategy, and the promotions reflect our ambition to be a leading global consultancy.”

Felix Kong joined Argon from Caliba, where he was a partner and led the procurement consultancy’s healthcare practice, prior to which he co-founded GB Consulting Group. He has served both regional public and private sector clients across his 15-year advisory career, with specific expertise in managing and delivering large-scale cost saving projects and designing procurement functions.

At Argon & Co, he works closely with the IRIS product team to develop and deploy intelligent procurement solutions that move beyond traditional cost reduction. These solutions leverage advanced analytics and AI to optimise spend, strengthen supplier strategies, and build resilience, enabling procurement to lift its strategic value.

Evert Westerhof came to Argon & Co after serving as COO of Melrose Health, and leads the firm’s engineering & capital projects offering for the Asia Pacific. He boasts over two decades of advisory, operations, and manufacturing experience and in delivering capital projects with a particular focus on the FMCG sector, including half of that time spent at Procter & Gamble in Europe.

At Argon & Co, he advises clients in manufacturing on linking operational performance with capital strategy, ensuring organisations take a disciplined, value-driven approach to investment. This helps clients balance cost, risk, and long-term value in increasingly complex production environments where capital decisions must be closely aligned to operational outcomes.

Warren Proctor has deep expertise in manufacturing and technology-enabled transformation, with operational experience spanning heavy industry, biomedical, defence and consumer goods.

Since joining Argon & Co, following previous experience in Australia’s elite commando units, he has played an important role in growing the firm’s manufacturing and operations transformation capability. A key component of this capability is MODE (Manufacturing Optimisation & Daily Execution), the firm’s flagship optimisation framework, powered by Redzone’s connected workforce platform.

Led by Proctor, MODE brings together operational excellence, enhanced frontline capabilities and digital enablement to deliver real-time performance improvements on the factory floor, while providing executives with visible, measurable outcomes. Launched in Australia, the solution is now being scaled across clients worldwide.

Oliver North joined Pollen Consulting almost a decade ago, where he was made partner and led the firm’s technology division. With earlier operations and engineering roles at Coriolis Consulting and Rolls-Royce, he is experienced in end-to-end optimisation, strategy, analytics, and project delivery.

A specialist in manufacturing and business transformation, North leads end-to-end transformation programs that connect strategy, technology and operations across the value chain.

Shifting demand

Commenting on the appointments, Eastwood said the firm’s latest partnership promotions reflect the changing nature of its clients’ operational environment, where technology and strategy can no longer be viewed in isolation but rather should be brought together and tied to measurable outcomes.

“We’re seeing a clear shift in what clients expect from transformation,” Eastwood said. “Our new leaders collectively represent a more connected, tech-enabled approach, combining deep operational expertise and practical solutions with AI capability to unlock productivity, build resilience, and create lasting value, whether that’s in manufacturing, procurement or capital investment.”
