Q5 achieves 100% employee satisfaction rating for Australian workplace culture

Q5 has been certified as a Great Place to Work in Australia, achieving a 100% positive employee rating, well above the average for local companies.

Recently celebrating its tenth anniversary in the region, Q5 continues to grow its presence across Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane. Now, as part of the Great Place to Work certification process covering workplace culture, employee experience, and internal leadership traits, it has been revealed that every single member of the Q5 team in Australia gave the firm the thumbs up.

“This recognition is a testament to the exceptional team we have here and the collective efforts all made to support one another, develop, and grow an amazing business,” stated Q5 co-founder Chris Parsons, who was appointed managing partner for Australia and New Zealand toward the middle of last year after originally helping to establish the business in London in 2009.

The firm’s UK organisation is likewise Great Place to Work certified, and has previously received awards from the global authority on workplace culture for development, well-being, and women. The latest accolade also isn’t the first time the firm has been recognised in Australia, but the label requires maintained performance based on the feedback of current staff.

The confidential survey canvasses employees for their opinions covering leadership, experience, culture and performance, with questions on topics such as the level of communication, respect, support and trust given by leaders, inclusivity and fairness, professional development, pride in their work, and collaboration, with the latter being a particular cultural focus of Q5.

“Great Place to Work certification is a highly coveted achievement that requires consistent and intentional dedication to the overall employee experience,” says executive vice president Sarah Lewis-Kulin. “By successfully earning this recognition, it is evident that Q5 stands out as one of the top companies to work for, providing a great workplace environment for all of its employees.”

Easily exceeding the benchmark, the perfect score received by the firm for 2026 compares to a rate of just 60% of employees at a typical Australian company agreeing that theirs is a great place to work, with Q5 stating that the latest recognition not only reflects its strong culture of collaboration, development, and support, but also reinforces its own mission in the market.

The management consulting firm provides a range of services to clients across industries focused on organisational health and performance, including around strategy, organisational design, development & culture, technology, and transformation & change, driven by a belief that people thrive, performance improves, and lasting impact is created when organisations are healthy.

Naturally, Great Place to Work agrees, with its own research finding that higher-performing organisations on its benchmark achieve market-leading revenue and increased innovation, along with having higher rates of employee retention. Those at certified workplaces are also almost twice as likely to express that they look forward to coming to work.
