William Buck makes seven mid-year partnership promotions
Accounting and consulting firm William Buck has made seven mid-year partner promotions across the country, doubling its tally for the financial year, along with elevating a dozen new principals.
The partnership additions include recent recruit John Marsden, who joined William Buck last year bringing experience from Ferrier Hodgson and KPMG, while new partners Henry Schofield, Jeremy Raniti, and Samantha Zebrowski began their career at the firm as graduates.
Also elevated were new business advisory partner Stuart Mansfield in Perth, and wealth advisory duo Chris Franco and Arash Zamansani in Adelaide and Brisbane, taking the firm’s overall partnership tally to 157, together with its seven earlier financial year promotions.
“Exceptional work comes from passionate people who feel trusted to shape outcomes and supported to do their best work,” said A/NZ chair Greg Travers “We empower our people to leverage the collective expertise of more than 1,200 colleagues to deliver the best outcome for clients, while championing an environment where they can build strong, trusted relationships.”
Stuart Mansfield originally joined William Buck as a senior accountant in Sydney in 2016 before shortly after transferring to Perth, where he serves SMBs on complex tax matters. Financial planners Arash Zamansani and Chris Franco meanwhile both joined in Brisbane and Adelaide respectively in 2018, the former with SMSF expertise and latter originally as a paraplanner.
“Becoming a partner wasn’t something I had mapped out early in my career,” Mansfield commented. “Like most good things, it happened one step at a time – learning from great people, saying yes to opportunities, and working hard to keep improving. Looking back, I feel incredibly fortunate as I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside some outstanding colleagues and mentors.”
Meanwhile, of the trio of one-time William Buck graduate accountants and now business advisory partners, Jeremy Raniti and Samantha Zebrowski step up after being previously promoted to principal at the start of 2024, having joined the firm in Melbourne in 2013 and 2015, while Henry Schofield joined William Buck’s now newly-relocated Adelaide office in 2017.
