Scyne Advisory hires Michelle Perugini as Managing Director
Scyne Advisory has appointed Michelle Perugini as Managing Director. She kicks off her new role on 1 September 2026.
Michelle Perugini joins the consulting firm from Adelaide University, where she has served as Director of Research Translation and Commercialisation and CEO of AU Ventures.
She brings extensive experience at the intersection of artificial intelligence, commercialisation, innovation, strategy and governance, strengthening Scyne Advisory’s AI transformation and digital capabilities.
At Adelaide University, she played a key role in establishing and strengthening commercialisation functions, leading initiatives across spinouts, licensing, investment and research translation. She also implemented an AI strategy for the organisation’s commercialisation portfolio and led the establishment of AU Ventures’ corporate structure.
A founder of three AI companies since 2007, Perugini has spent almost two decades working with artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. Her expertise extends beyond technology implementation to the strategic, governance and organisational considerations required for successful AI adoption. This includes AI strategy, responsible AI, risk management, cyber security, assurance and large-scale organisational transformation.
At Scyne Advisory, Perugini will be based in South Australia and will work nationally across government and industry clients, supporting organisations to unlock value through AI, innovation and digital transformation.
