CyberCX, Mantel and V2 AI named in top five of Australia’s Best Workplaces list

Technology consultancies CyberCX, Mantel, and V2 AI are among the companies to have achieved top five spots in their respective size categories on this year’s ‘Best Workplaces in Australia’ list.

The 2026 rankings compiled by global research and certification company Great Place to Work have seen CyberCX claim fifth spot in the ‘large’ category for organisations with 1,000 employees or more.

Meanwhile, Mantel has repeated its efforts from last year to again land in fourth spot in the ‘medium’ category of over 100 and up 999 employees, while growing data & AI consultancy V2 AI has shot back up the rankings from 23rd into second in the ‘small’ bracket.

This year’s survey reached almost 130,000 employees nationwide, with almost all of those at the country’s top workplaces stating that they were proud to tell people where they work, against just 60 percent for a typical company. That sense of pride then translates into significant HR benefits, with nine in ten employees at top companies in for the long haul compared to just over half elsewhere.

CyberCX’s rise up the rankings from eighth last year could be considered especially commendable in respect to its purchase by Accenture last year and the difficulties and employee discontent that can often arise during integrations. Yet, 86 percent of its employees considered the consultancy a great place to work, a figure which outranks many of its fellow top-rated large-sized companies.

“CyberCX’s mission to secure our communities starts with our people,” commented CEO John Paitaridis. “We continuously strive to create a workplace that is exciting, innovative, purpose-led and fulfilling to attract and retain top talent in our industry. Being recognised as one of Australia’s best workplaces celebrates and reflects the collective effort that has shaped the one we are today.”

Mantel

Meanwhile, Mantel has been a perennial performer at the top of the medium category (as well as the separate best technology and workplaces for women lists), notching its seventh consecutive entry with a current 94 percent overall approval rating. However, the consultancy might soon have to move up a bracket, with its A/NZ headcount now pushing towards 900 advisors and technicians.

“Being recognised for the 7th year in a row reaffirms that it’s possible to be a principle-led organisation at scale,” said chief people officer Caroline Henshaw. “This is a delightful recognition for our entire team, and feels like a real acknowledgment of our approach to creating individualised experiences and future-proofing our team’s careers in this time of rapid workplace change.”

V2 AI

Established in just 2023 – with a proper kick-start the following year via the backing of Columbia Capital – V2 AI’s more than 20-place jump in the rankings over the past twelve months is an impressive achievement, especially when taking into account the firm’s rapid growth, ever-increasing demand, influx of new senior leaders, and both its national and regional expansion efforts.

“For V2 AI, this recognition reinforces something we believe in strongly: a high-trust culture is a clear business advantage,” the firm stated. “When people feel valued, they are better positioned to solve complex problems, collaborate effectively, and deliver meaningful outcomes. We are proud of what we’ve built together, and even more excited about where our team is going next.”
