Professional services group InCorp rebrands as Ascentium
Corporate advisory and services provider InCorp is rebranding to Ascentium across its Asia Pacific network, bringing it under the one banner backed by more than 3,000 professionals.
Headquartered in Singapore, Ascentium was established in 2024 and acquired InCorp the following year. Its Australian branch, InCorp Advisory, has a nationwide team of more than 150 professionals led by co-heads Mark Wellings and Daniel Dalla.
Ascentium meanwhile, led by co-founder and group chief executive Lennard Yong, the former CEO of Tricor (now Vistra), and backed by investment firm Hillhouse, has since its formation made more than a dozen acquisitions, quickly expanding across 26 global markets.
“This transition marks an exciting next step for our firm, strengthening the support we provide to clients in Australia while connecting them to a broader global business services network,” InCorp stated. “As Ascentium, we’re backed by a global advisory platform spanning 58 cities, giving our clients access to broader specialist expertise and international capability whenever it’s needed.”
Ascentium in Australia provides a wide range of integrated services grouped around corporate solutions, accounting & tax, HR & payroll, business advisory, risk assurance & audit, and private clients, with a focus on supporting the establishment of companies and their ongoing operational and financial management. The firm has offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth.
“While our brand is changing, what matters most isn’t,” the firm continued. “Clients will continue working with the same local team, receiving the same personalised advice and practical support. Whether their ambitions are local, national, or global, they’ll still have the same trusted advisers who understand their business, but now with more resources and expertise behind them.”
Also rebranding is InCorp’s financial management wing Oxygen Private Clients, along with recent Ascentium acquisition MGI Dobbyn Carafa (MGIDC), a boutique Melbourne-based accounting, tax, and business advisory firm which was established two decades ago by directors Anthony Dobbyn and Anthony Carafa with a focus on small-to-medium enterprise clients.
“MGIDC brings highly regarded taxation and corporate advisory expertise that complements our presence in Australia, and together with InCorp further elevates our ability to help clients operating across the region with consistent, streamlined advice,” said Yong, who completed his commerce masters at UNSW and spent four years at Westpac in Sydney earlier in his career.
