With more than 2,000 partners and consultants, PwC Consulting is one of Australia’s largest and leading consulting firms. At the helm of the consultancy division is David McKeering, who recently took over the reins from Liza Maimone.

David McKeering has been with PwC since 2005, and was appointed a partner in 2007. Based in Brisbane, he ascended the ranks to become the Consulting leader for the Queensland region and later on became PwC’s Healthcare practice leader for Australia.

In 2013, he moved to Singapore to help PwC South East Asia build its Consulting division, and during this period, he held roles of growing seniority, including Public Sector and Healthcare leader and latterly Chief Operations Officer of PwC South East Asia Consulting.

Working closely with Sundara Raj Ramamurthy (at the time the CEO of PwC South East Asia Consulting) and Charles Loh (Head of PwC Consulting in Singapore), McKeering helped PwC consolidate its position as one of the leading consultancies in the South East, serving clients in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam and Myanmar.

He leads PwC’s team of consultants that help clients across industries with some of their most pressing challenges, across strategy, transformation, mergers & acquisitions, financial management, digitisation and technology-led innovation. McKeering himself specialises in operations transformation, risk and regulation, technology and digital transformation.
