Pollen adds leadership coaching course to its academy
Launched two years ago, Pollen Academy is the training & learning arm of Pollen Consulting Group. The unit complements Pollen’s consulting work in the fast moving consumer goods sector with learning & development offerings, and also provides the firm’s clients with standalone training courses.
The arm’s focus has traditionally been on lean, supply chain management and operational excellence, and more recently, it expanded its portfolio to also include lean six sigma. Now, amid growing demand for its blended training services, Pollen Consulting Group has extended its suite to include an ‘Executive Leadership Coaching’ course aimed at executives wanting to develop their vision and leadership skills both personally and professionally.
The course is run by Stephan Mang, a Director at the consultancy. He is an ICF certified coach and has a “wealth of knowledge and experience in coaching and mentoring as well as a passion for helping people achieve their goals,” said Ash Darley, Director of Pollen Academy. Prior to joining the Sydney-based consultancy, Mang gained extensive experience as an internal coach and mentor to senior managers.
Leveraging his expertise, Mang helps leaders in the private and public sector make positive changes in areas such as career, business, leadership and health amongst others. The program he designed starts by helping participants identify objectives and road-blocks, and then gives them the structure and inherent motivation to shift their mindset and realise their journey.
One of the first leaders that subscribed for the Executive Leadership Coaching course was Petra Williams, a talk show and podcast host, television and radio presenter and entrepreneur. Reflecting on the course, she said: “He really helped me get clarity around what I want and set realistic intentions.”
