Juliette Taylor joins Synergy's creativeXpeople practice
After spending over three years in the UK, Juliette Taylor has returned to Aussie shores and joined Synergy Group as a senior manager in its creativeXpeople practice.
Led by Creative Director Jason Perelson, the creativeXpeople team of leading management consulting firm Synergy Group helps governments and public sector organisations with injecting a human-centric design into their change programmes, products/services and innovations.
The unit comprises creative specialists (responsible for brand identity, creative ideation and execution), human capital experts (responsible for behaviour, culture and the human experience) and management consultants (who safeguard the link with business strategy and goals).
“We aim to reinvent the way creativity is delivered to government, and believe the best solutions are achieved when many minds, backgrounds and perspectives are brought together,” said Perelson.
For Juliette Taylor, this was one of the main motivations to join the team. “When we first started talking a while ago, I just knew that the vision, excitement, and attitude of the team meshed with my own.”
Taylor comes with a creative background, and brings over 10 years of experience leading brand strategy and creative campaign development in London and Sydney. Prior to joining the consultancy, she was Head of Creative Campaigns at Deliveroo, overseeing campaign management and integrated marketing activities across the company’s 14 markets it is active in.
Also based in London, she before that worked at creative agency Aesop, where she supported a number of key accounts with marketing & advertising services. Among her projects, she led the development of the global packaging concept and digital promotion of Game of Thrones Season 7 and Girls Complete Seasons 1-6 in partnership with HBO’s headquarters in New York.
Earlier in her career, she worked at Australian advertising agency Lavender and the Sydney office of global communications group Leo Burnett.
At Synergy Group, she takes on a leadership role within creativeXpeople, as the unit seeks to continue its growth since inception some two years ago. Perelson: “The creativeXpeople team have been growing, exploring, and creating such great stuff – I’m so proud of everything the team have achieved so far. With Jules now, the sky’s the limit to how we will be able to really get stuck in, and do work that matters, and work that actually does something effectively.”
Partner at Synergy Group Sally Dorsett added: “Juliette brings such an enormous talent and expertise to the team, and an incredible attitude that fits so well with our tight-knit culture to be curious, make a difference and do things differently. We are excited about where she’ll push us, just as much as where we’ll go together.”
