Esan Tabrizi new leader of Deloitte Digital in Australia
Deloitte has promoted Esan Tabrizi to Head of Deloitte Digital in Australia. He succeeds Steve Hallam, who has taken on another senior role within the firm.
Esan Tabrizi brings over 22 years of digital transformation, digital marketing, software engineering, system integration and delivery experience to the role, 11 of which have been gained at the Big Four firm. He joined Deloitte in 2010 as a Manager, was appointed a Partner in 2014, and most recently was the leader of the Marketing, Commerce and Digital Experience practice within Deloitte Digital.
Already in the role since the start of June, Tabrizi leads a team of 700 professionals working from Deloitte’s offices across Australia. Deloitte Digital is the firm’s creative and digital agency, supporting clients with “digital, marketing, innovation and creativity,” said Tabrizi.

We have an amazing team that is at the forefront of shaping outcomes for our clients and their industries – from financial services and the public sector, to wealth and retail. I’m looking forward to building on really strong foundations to continue our market leading position and making an impact that matters.”
Tabrizi takes over the reins from Steve Hallam, who recently was elevated to lead Deloitte Consulting’s Enterprise Technology & Performance practice. Hallam led the division for four-and-a-half years, during this period nearly doubling the size of the business.

Three months ago, Deloitte Digital beefed up its team in Australia with the acquisition of Canberra-headquartered Soda Strategic. The firm also has a presence in New Zealand.
