Jacob Koshy appointed ANZ head as tech consultancy eyes growth

Indian-origin tech consulting firm TO THE NEW has appointed Jacob Koshy as its head of ANZ, further stating its rapid expansion plans for the region.

In a move aimed at strengthening its Australia and New Zealand practice, fast-growing Indian tech services and consulting firm TO THE NEW has appointed former Infosys senior director Jacob Koshy as its new Vice President and Business Unit Head for ANZ. To be based out of Melbourne, Koshy brings more than two decades of experience to the role, including a further stint at Deloitte.

“With his deep industry knowledge, indisputable track record, and strong delivery experience leveraging technology, we are confident that Jacob has the right vision to catapult TO THE NEW to even higher levels in the region,” said CEO Deepak Mittal, who co-founded the company alongside Narinder Kumar (COO), Raman Mittal (CMO) and Satya Sheel Sharma (CHRO) in India in 2008.

Since then, on the back of a 60 percent compound annual growth rate over the past five years, TO THE NEW has expanded to a team of more than 1,700 tech professionals and consultants across offices in New Delhi, New York, Dubai and Sydney. The company offers a range of services centred around digital engineering, cloud, data & analytics, and CX to clients across a number of sectors.

Having already served more than 20 companies in the ANZ region over the past four years, TO THE NEW is now eyeing off the market for its high-growth potential and intends to swiftly expand its local presence, with Koshy tasked with not only overseeing day to day operations but training and retaining talent and playing an active role in executing the company’s business strategy.

For this, Koshy will be able to lean on more than two decades of diverse industry experience across consulting, sales, delivery, and operations, including 17 years over two stints at Infosys, latterly as a senior director overseeing practice engagement in the Asia pacific for AI & Automation services. Prior to that most recent role, Koshy also spent two years as a director at Deloitte in Melbourne.
