Katie Rodwell joined in May as Senior Advisor in the Perth office with a focus on B2C and reputation management. Rodwell has spent nearly 20 years running PR campaigns in both agency and in-house teams across Europe, Asia Pacific and the Americas, consulting across a range of industries including financial services, technology, telecoms, travel and tourism, and professional services.

Rodwell has previously worked with American Express, Toyota, Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Australian Paralympic Committee, British Telecom, Motorola, Robert Half International and Virgin Money.

Kelly Oversby meanwhile joined in the summer as Lead Advisor for the Perth office with a focus on B2B and corporate clients. She has more than two decades experience in PR, media and marketing consulting having operated her own boutique consultancy for 12 years and managed APAC marcoms in-house for a multinational beverage company Foster’s Group.

GT Communications was founded in 2003 by Gemma Tognini, a former Telstra Businesswomen of the Year award winner. Under her leadership, the firm has grown into a full-service communications, corporate affairs, public relations and reputation management firm.

The company works for clients including The Sydney Harbour Federation Trust, commercial and industrial property group Goodman, national property group Investa, safety boot manufacturer Steel Blue and luxury hotel Pan Pacific Perth.

Looking ahead, Tognini said: “There is a strong appetite for clear and authentic communications backed by strong strategic understanding. We foresee strong growth in both our offices into the new year.”
