Deloitte recruits four partners to Australian leadership team
Deloitte’s partnership recruitment machine continues to roll on with another four members announced over the past few weeks. Christine Kennedy, Xavier Hinckson, Sheila Pringle and Kate Monckton are among the firm’s latest partner additions, joining in Melbourne, Sydney and Perth.
Christine Kennedy joins the firm as a technology transformation partner in Sydney, after five years as a partner at Ernst & Young where she served as its Asia Pacific Technology Transformation lead.
Previously, Kennedy was the CIO of Cover More and IAG, and brings 25 years of banking and capital markets experience, including senior leadership stints at Westpac, Goldman Sachs and Citi.
“Christine is well known in the banking and capital markets sector, and with 25 years in industry, I am pleased to welcome her leadership experience to the team to help our clients with their technology transformations,” Deloitte Consulting managing partner Ellen Derrick said.
Xavier Hinckson joins Deloitte Consulting in Melbourne after more than a decade and a half as a finance-related public servant in London and Melbourne – most recently as Finance Executive Director for the Victorian government Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning. He has also served with the health & human services and environment & primary industries departments.
Sheila Pringle becomes a senior partner in Deloitte Consulting’s Perth office, crossing from KPMG’s Canberra practice after more than five years. A specialist in organisational and digital transformation for health and public sector clients, Pringle previously spent seven years as a director in Deloitte’s UK office, having earlier spent eight years with Arthur Andersen Consulting.
A recent recipient of the Australian Women in Security Network’s Most Outstanding Woman in IT Security award for her work with nbn, where she has spent more than the past decade, Kate Monckton has joined Deloitte’s cyber risk partnership team in Sydney. Most recently Monckton was a general manager in nbn’s security leadership team, and has also served as ANZ president of the IAPP.
