Software giant SAP has handed out its 2022 Partner Excellence Awards for Australia and New Zealand, with Deloitte bagging three awards for outstanding achievement, and Accenture, DXC Technology and PwC receiving two apiece.

Given across 14 categories, the awards recognise SAP’s top performing partners for customer service, innovation, technology, and services over the past twelve months.

“Our partners play a crucial role in the growth and the success of our customers,” said SAP ANZ president and managing director Damien Bueno. “This has been especially evident this past year and it has been inspiring to see our ecosystem furthering the growth, success and transformation of Australian and New Zealand organisations during such a period of uncertainty and flux.”

SAP Partner Excellence Awards 2022

Presented at the conclusion of SAP’s Partner Ecosystem Success Summit in Sydney, Deloitte went home the biggest winner, taking the awards for Partner Solution for the highest impact from a packaged solution; Industry Cloud, for impact on a customer or sector based on a partner-industry approach; and Cloud Sales Excellence, for strong contribution in cloud across revenue-based sales.

Last month, SAP and implementation partner Deloitte were selected for a joint $220 million contract to overhaul and support Western Australia’s health services human resources systems through SAP SuccessFactors, with SAP earning $50 million in licensing fees covering up to ten years. The pair also recently launched the latest SAP AppHause innovation centre in Sydney.

Elsewhere, fellow Big Four firm Ernst & Young won the award for social impact, while PwC was awarded for Partner Innovation and for Customer Business Transformation, the latter jointly with Wipro. The pair, PwC as strategic partner and Wipro as system integrator, had received previous recognition via SAP’s Best Run Awards for helping Sydney Water to enhance its back office operations.

Accenture and fellow tech consultancy DXC each earned two awards, Accenture for Sustainability and RISE (a “business-transformation-as-a-services” offering with bundled SAP products), and DXC for Cloud Customer Engagement and Mid-Market. Meanwhile, Discovery Consulting, a SAP specialist founded in Melbourne in 2011, took out Cloud Delivery Excellence category.
