International risk and security consultancy Turnkey Consulting has appointed Rob Tyler as Cyber Security Practice Director for the Asia Pacific region.

Headquartered in London, Turnkey Consulting is a consulting firm specialised in integrated risk management, identity access management, and cyber and application security. The firm has around 150 staff working from offices in the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Malaysia, Singapore, the United States, and Australia.

With the launch of the new regional role, Turnkey Consulting aims to add more weight to its cyber and identity offerings in Asia Pacific, with a strong focus on Australia’s critical infrastructure client base.

The UK-origin consultancy first launched in Australia in 2007, and has since successfully established itself as a specialist player in the risk and security domain, in particular for SAP systems (the firm is for instance one of the few consultancies to hold SAP Recognised Expertise for Governance Risk and Compliance). In 2017, Turnkey Consulting also expanded to New Zealand.

In the cyber and security space, the firm works with clients, service providers including SailPoint, CyberArk and Onapsis, and audit partners to provide the controls and solutions that safeguard more secure frontiers.

“The launch of the new role reflects the increasingly complex IT environments in which clients operate, as well as the need to counteract the global increase in cyber security threats,” said Ed Davis, a director at Turnkey Consulting.

“Turnkey Consulting has built a strong reputation for combining technical skills with business expertise and attention to detail when it comes to customer service; it was key therefore to find the right person for this new role. Rob’s insights and expertise will offer significant additional value to our clients.”
