Steve Giles leads Accenture’s organisation design consulting team
Accenture has strengthened its Strategy & Consulting division with Steve Giles, who joins the firm as a managing director based in Brisbane.
Following 15 years with Deloitte Consulting (latterly as a partner), and two years with National Australia Bank in a leadership role, Steve Giles has joined Accenture as a leader in the Talent and Organisation practice.
Building on his years of experience leading organisation transformation across industries, Giles now oversees Accenture’s Organisation Design and Strategy capabilities across Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
Commenting on the appointment, Gaston Carrion, Managing Director and Leader of the Talent and Organisation practice, said: “The design of new organisational models and implementation of new ways of working is critical to support business growth and develop more sustainable organisations. In addition, having the right senior leadership and organisational enablers will be critical for the next frontier of growth and innovation.”

Last month, Accenture also added Jo McConnell to the leadership team of its Talent and Organisation practice. McConnell leads the newly launched CEO-led Transformation service line across Australia, Asia Pacific, Africa, Middle East and India.
