Endava expands Australian presence with acquisition of Lexicon

Australian digital consultancy Lexicon has been acquired by Endava, a technology services company with close to 12,000 employees worldwide.

UK-headquartered Endava has been active in Australia since the summer of 2021, operating with offices in Brisbane and Sydney. To fast track its expansion plans in the nation, the firm has acquired Lexicon, adding a team of around 130 staff across offices in Melbourne and Sydney to its ranks (and a team in Ho Chi Minh).

Founded in 2016, Lexicon helps corporate clients and scale-ups with implementing digital transformation and building new digital solutions using an agile delivery methodology. Close to 90% of its revenues come from large (international) corporations.

We are excited about what we can achieve together,” said John Cotterell, CEO of Endava.

The bolt-on boosts Endava’s capabilities across sectors, in particular in the insurance and wealth management space where Lexicon has several long-standing client relationships. “In addition, Lexicons’ nearshore delivery location in Vietnam complements our existing operations in Singapore and Malaysia,” said Cotterell.
