Deloitte Consulting welcomes Fern Canning as marketing director
Deloitte Consulting has brought in Fern Canning as its new marketing director for Australia.
In her new role, Canning will lead Deloitte Consulting’s branding, creative, public relations and communications portfolio nationally.

Headquartered in the United States, Deloitte Consulting is the world’s largest consulting firm, according to the latest data from Gartner. The firm operates in the marketplace with three labels: namesake Deloitte Consulting (management consulting), Monitor Deloitte(strategy consulting), and Deloitte Digital (creative and technology transformation).

Canning joins Deloitte Consulting from global public relations and communications agency Edelman, where she spent the past six and a half years, most recently as executive vice president.
During this time, her work has spanned consumer goods brands including Panadol, Aptamil and Unilever, tech and lifestyle brands including HP, LinkedIn, Norton and PayPal; travel organisations including Destination NSW, Tourism Fiji, and Dubai Tourism, and food & beverage brands including Kellogg, Hardy’s, Barilla and Starbucks.
Building on her track record, Canning is a high-profile judge at several public relations industry awards including the EFFIES and B&T Next.
