Simon-Kucher adds Josh Koh to partner team in Australia
Simon-Kucher has strengthened its partner team in Australia with Josh Koh, who will focus on helping clients in Australia and the wider Asia Pacific region.
Based out of Sydney, Josh Koh is a member of Simon-Kucher’s Financial Services practice. He has extensive expertise in strategy development, operating model design, business case development, commercial due diligence, and transaction integration.
Headquartered in Germany, Simon-Kucher is a consulting firm specialised in commercial growth, market & sales strategy, and pricing. The global consultancy has over 2,000 staff worldwide, and has been active in Australia since 2010. Koh becomes the firm’s third local partner alongside Christoph Petzoldt and Mitchell Taylor.

Prior to joining Simon-Kucher, Koh co-led the global strategy practice at NMS Consulting, an international player dedicated to the insurance, asset management, and pension sectors. Before that, he held numerous positions within the banking and insurance sector including at ANZ and TAL.
Earlier, Koh spent six years at KPMG (in its Global Strategy Group),EY, and Strategy&, formerly Booz & Company (which then operated as Booz Allen Hamilton before its 2008 split).
In his new role, Koh will focus mainly on strategic and operational advice to the commercial side of financial institutions, and transaction advisory services during deals.
Last year, Simon-Kucher was named one of Australia’s top consulting firms by Consultancy.org.
