Trace strengthens team with senior consultant Kingston Yong
Supply chain consultancy Trace has strengthened its team with Kingston Yong.
Appointed a Senior Consultant, Kingston Yong joins Trace having recently completed his MBA at INSEAD in France. Prior to that, he gained around a decade of experience in business improvement, process management, cost optimisation, and redesigning operating models, predominantly in the manufacturing and transportation sectors.
As a seasoned Continuous Improvement Lean Six Sigma accredited practitioner, Yong is well-versed in guiding lean transformations from strategy development through to on-the-ground implementation.
“We are excited to have Kingston join our Melbourne team and looking forward to the positive impact that he has for our clients. Kingston adds to our depth in manufacturing and also brings a strong, pragmatic approach to process optimisation – a great fit for us,” said Shanaka Jayasinghe, partner at Trace.
Prior to joining Trace, Yong was a Business Improvement Specialist at LINX Cargo Care Group, a leading diversified logistics infrastructure and solutions provider backed by Brookfield Private Equity. Earlier he worked for Cargill, CSR, and Accenture.
Alongside his MBA, Yong also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Monash University, as well as a Master's Degree in Engineering Management from the University of Melbourne.
