L.E.K. Consulting adds Nawaz Isaji to Australian partnership

Global strategy firm L.E.K. Consulting has added experienced transactions advisor Nawaz Isaji to its partnership team in Sydney.

Nawaz Isaji crosses to L.E.K. Consulting after spending the past five and a half years as a partner in Strategy&’s deals team, before which he also served at fellow leading global firms Boston Consulting Group and Kearney.

Isaji predominantly serves private equity and corporate clients on M&A strategy and due diligence, with experience across a range of sectors including consumer products, retail, industrials, agribusiness, infrastructure, and transport. He also advises on new market entries and post-deal value creation, having worked with clients in Australia, Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

Isaji is the consultancy’s second local partnership addition announced in as many weeks, following the recruitment of energy sector specialist Lucy Carter last month, while fellow M&A and organisational transformation expert Henry Craig was promoted in Melbourne at the start of the year. Together, the trio have pushed L.E.K.’s Australian partnership number beyond 20.

Isaji holds a double law and engineering degree from University of Technology Sydney, since complemented by an MBA from INSEAD in France.
