V2 Digital lands $30 million funding to accelerate growth
Australian startup V2 Digital has landed $30 million in growth funding from Columbia Capital, aimed at further accelerating its already steep growth trajectory.
Founded just one year ago, V2 Digital specialises in digital, data, cloud and software services, working with its clients from consultancy and product build through to delivery and post-implementation.
With the added financial muscle from Columbia Capital, V2 Digital plans to grow its consulting team to 90+ by the end of the year, and broaden its geographical reach beyond its existing footprint in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Craig Howe, CEO of V2 Digital, said, “This investment will enable us to further bolster our market position and expand into new areas.”
“We have a deep appreciation and understanding of the challenges leaders face today, with many in our ranks having been key decision-makers on the customer side, contributed to growing tech organisations, built market-leading consultancies, and held senior positions inside all three cloud giants [Amazon Web Services, Google and Microsoft].”
Jason Booma, Partner at Columbia Capital, said the private equity group sees significant growth potential for V2 Digital, pointing at a gap in the market for clients seeking deep and specialised expertise.
“With an exceptional leadership team and an experienced team of talented data specialists, software and cloud engineers and designers, we saw the potential of V2 Digital’s service offerings and believe the business is on track to cement its position as a go-to brand for complex and transformative solutions,” Booma said.
This news continues a run of milestones for V2 Digital, having recently gained Advanced Tier status within the AWS Partner Network and being recognised as one of the Best Places to Work in Australia.
