Core Connect Group appoints Monique Gaspar to executive role
Healthcare consultancy Core Connect Group has appointed Monique Gaspar as General Manager of Delivery & Growth.
The new executive brings a wealth of experience and expertise in business operations, healthcare procurement, and business development to the NSW-based specialist consultancy.
In her new role, Gaspar will oversee the firm’s portfolio of projects, spanning hospitals, medical clinics and other healthcare institutions, and play a pivotal role in driving growth. Core Connect Group specialises in topics including asset optimisation, operational excellence, and project delivery.
“The last few years have been focused on delivering several major projects including Tweed Valley Hospital and the Canberra Hospital expansion,” said Pat Wheaton, Managing Director of Core Connect Group.

Starting her journey as a Radiographer before holding senior operational clinical roles at private imaging organisations, Gaspar also serves on the Medical Radiation Practice Board of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Radiation Advisory Committee (RAC) of Victoria.
She joins Core Connect Group from Althea, where she served as the Head of Procurement and Business Operations. Althea is one of the world’s largest independent providers of medical equipment services, managing 1.4 million medical devices in 2,000 hospitals and healthcare establishments across 12 countries, with a focus on radiology procurement.
