Right Lane appoints Rebecca Reimers to lead Sydney practice
Melbourne-based strategy and management firm Right Lane Consulting has recruited Rebecca Reimers as a principal to lead and grow its Sydney practice.
With over 20 years of experience in strategy, business transformation, and program management, Reimers joins Right Lane Consulting following a recent strategy leadership stint at ServiceNow, with earlier time spent at EY and Accenture.
Reimers joins Zoe Pappas, Gemma Pinnell, and fellow recent recruit Michael Livingstone as one of four principals at the firm, with founder and chair Marc Levy having handed over CEO duties to Chiara Lawry in 2022.
“We are thrilled to welcome Rebecca as our new head of Right Lane’s Sydney practice,” the firm stated. “Rebecca has a remarkable track record of guiding and influencing executive teams to drive complex transformations. We are confident that her extensive experience and commitment to impactful change will be invaluable in driving our Sydney practice forward.”
An MBA-holder from QUT, Reimers kicked off her career as an investment manager at Austrade, before spending the next seven years as a management consultant with Ernst & Young in Canberra. From there, she crossed to Accenture, before later being appointed as A/NZ go-to-market strategy & programs leader for enterprise software provider ServiceNow.
In addition to her time at large tech and consulting companies, Reimers has also spent periods advising the public and not-for-profit sector, including assignments with Icare and Dementia Australia, and was a delegate of the Australian Climate Leaders Coalition. Most recently, she has been self-employed as a business consultant and executive coach and mentor.
Like many, Reimers said she was attracted to the B Corp-certified consultancy due to its ‘for benefit’ approach to business; “I was drawn to working at Right Lane as a purpose-driven organisation with strong values. I am passionate about working with clients in the for-purpose sector and I look forward to helping them solve some of society’s most pressing challenges.”
This month, Right Lane was named among Australia’s top management consulting firms for 2024.
