Grant Thornton welcomes Elizabeth McNamara to partner team

Grant Thornton has strengthened its partnership in Sydney with Elizabeth McNamara, who becomes a member of the Corporate Tax team.

Elizabeth McNamara joins the accounting and consulting firm from Big Four giant PwC, where she spent the past seventeen years, most recently as a Director in the Tax practice.

She advises clients – mainly corporates and large businesses – on international and corporate taxation matters, including the implementation of pre-sale restructures, tax losses and capital gains tax rollover concessions, cross-border transactions.

McNamara also has worked with family businesses and high-net worth individuals on topics such as annual compliance obligations, wealth management, property, family succession, audits and dispute resolution. The majority of her clients are active in the tourism, agriculture, retail, education and health sectors.

“I’m excited to join Grant Thornton and its Corporate Tax team and I’m keen to understand the clients and their unique needs, their businesses, and environments they operate in,” McNamara said.
