KPMG selects five start-ups for Future Technology program

Professional services firm KPMG has unveiled the latest round of participants for its successful Future Technology start-up program, which this time focuses on intelligent performance solutions.

Run in collaboration with Stone & Chalk, the accelerator program was launched in 2022 and has already seen fifteen groups of entrepreneurs through the door, covering supply chain, space tech innovation, and workforce solutions.

The five newest participants will now receive a twelve-month residency at one of Stone & Chalk’s three Australian hubs, along with tailored mentorship from KPMG and the opportunity to participate in client intros and pitch days.

For this cycle, KPMG and Stone & Chalk were on the hunt for early-stage founders building tech to maximise operational performance and productivity for business or government, broadly covering everything from intelligent automation through to service delivery reinvention. KPMG Futures national managing partner Sarah Vega noted Australia’s 2 percent productivity drop since 1995.

“In this climate, businesses are under significant pressure to boost efficiency,” Vega said of the  economic challenge. “The startups we’ve identified offer innovative solutions to help Australian companies reimagine their approach to business performance, driving productivity and positioning themselves for long-term success in an increasingly competitive global marketplace.”

The five selected participants are:

Bluesheets

An automation start-up which builds AI-driven workflows incorporating IRIS to help companies reach new heights with real-time financial automation. Its technology helps businesses to achieve complete automation at present, while eastablishing rich, accurate and complete data sets for the future.

Klaro

Swyvl

An AI-powered, web-based platform that captures comprehensive site information without the need for installation. Swyvl captures, visualises, and shares 360-degree views of a site, geolocates the captured data, and facilitates seamless sharing with teams to enhance collaboration.
