A new consultancy has sprung up in Sydney: Spring Strategy Co, which has been formed through a closer collaboration between the teams from Spring Business Consulting and Quest Worldwide.

Based out of Sydney, Spring Strategy Co will offer cross-industry services around organisation and culture in areas such as strategic planning, change management, coaching & leadership, and cultural transformations.

The founder of Spring Business Consulting, Jenny Haddad, will serve as a director of the new entity alongside Quest Worldwide management consultant Tina Cameron, with several other professionals from Quest Worldwide also involved.

“After many years of successful partnerships and joint efforts with consultants from Quest Worldwide, the opportunity arose to unite our strengths and achieve an even greater impact together,” Haddad said. “We are proud of the strong, long-term relationships we've built with our clients over the years, and we’re excited to see this grow in the future.”

Haddad established Spring Business Consulting in 2010 after an eight-year stint at risk consultancy Aon, where she served as change & internal communications manager. She also earlier spent time as a senior consultant at Andersen Business Consulting (now Accenture), and as a project manager with Austrade following a business degree with the University of Technology Sydney in 1991.

According to Haddad, Spring Business Consulting has served more than 70 organisations across Australia and ten countries overseas since its founding, and has previously worked with a number of hand-picked consultants on various assignments. Now, she’ll be joined by Cameron and her Quest colleagues Blake Beattie, Ben McPhee, and Dick Dale to bring additional expertise to clients.

The latter founded the Asia Pacific wing of Quest in 1988, while Cameron and Spring Strategy senior associate Beattie have each been with the consultancy for more than or close to a decade and a half. McPhee, a former senior leader at brewer Lion, joined the firm at the start of 2022, and also works as a consultant with international FMCG advisory Total Negotiation Group.

Collectively, the Spring Strategy Co team have advised a wide range of clients including Allianz, George Weston Foods, Transurban, and Melbourne & Olympic Parks among many others, and as part of its pitch the consultancy says it will take the time to listen and collaborate to define clear objectives before designing tailored, engaging programs towards successful strategy execution.

“We believe that thriving organisations begin with a great culture and a strategy that is developed and owned collectively by those who know their business the best, but appreciate that even the best strategy means little without the discipline of execution by committed and accountable leaders who understand the complexities of change and transformation.”
