460degrees promotes Angela Palahinjak and Jack Bell to partner
Melbourne-based technology consultancy 460degrees has expanded its partnership to ten members with the promotion of Angela Palahinjak and Jack Bell.
Led by founder and managing director Werner Spies, 460degrees (formerly CMC Group) was established in 2016 through the merger of CharterMason and Certatech, bringing together business transformation and technical expertise.
Describing itself as an ‘expert management agency’, the firm provides a range of cross-sector services around transformation advisory, strategic data management, communication networks, DevOps, and cybersecurity & digital trust.
Palahinjak and Bell join a ten-strong partnership team across Melbourne and Sydney, including managing partner Thang Huynh, having respectively joined 460degrees in 2020 and 2023. Together, the team leads engagements for high-level clients across the government, defence, telecom, energy, education, sports, and financial services sectors among others.
Having previously spent five years at CharterMason as a sales manager until 2013, Angela Palahinjak has now served as 460’s people & culture leader for the past four and a half years, notably taking up the role immediately ahead of the Covid-19 crisis. Such has been her impact, the firm says, it prompted the creation of a new partnership pathway for non-billable team members.
“Despite the challenges, Ange’s leadership, unwavering dedication to our well-being, and ability to cultivate a culture of trust have been remarkable,” the firm said in celebrating Palahinjak’s promotion and significance of her contribution. “Ange’s journey to partner is a testament to her commitment and the immense value she brings to our team.”
Jack Bell came on board as 460degree’s program & project delivery practice lead toward the end of last year, crossing after close to a decade with PwC including the previous eighteen months as a consulting director out of Melbourne. Prior to joining the Big Four firm, Bell also spent three and a half years in engineering roles with Rio Tinto, along with a brief stint at BAM in London.
“Jack’s dedication to program delivery and genuine enthusiasm for people have been pivotal in driving success for our clients,” the firm stated. “Steering the program & project delivery team through challenging circumstances while securing major projects, Jack’s outstanding accomplishments make him a well-deserved addition to our partner group.”
