Richa Arora new leader of IBM Consulting’s Cybersecurity team in Australia

IBM Consulting has strengthened its senior leadership team with the promotion of Richa Arora.

Appointed as Cybersecurity Services Leader, Richa Arora brings proven experience in delivering digital identity and access management solutions to clients in the public and critical infrastructure sectors. Throughout her 17-year career, Arora has led security transformations and assisted clients in developing cyber risk strategies, technology consulting, managing compliance, and program delivery.

Before joining IBM Consulting in February 2024 as a partner, Arora led PwC’s Cybersecurity and Digital Trust practice for the national health sector. She also led firmwide initiatives, including Secure by Design, Citizen Identity, and Verifiable Credentials. Before that, she spent six years at fellow Big Four firm Deloitte and worked for a Canberra-based boutique consultancy, as well as for multinational Aon where she kicked off her career.

Arora also held roles in the Australian government and worked as an independent consultant for several years.
