RSM adds boutique insolvency firm ChamberlainsSBR to Wagga Wagga team
Professional services firm RSM has added the team of ChamberlainsSBR to its footprint in Wagga Wagga, boosting its restructuring and insolvency offering.
The deal will see ChamberlainsSBR’s Steven Priest join RSM as Director together with Matthew Cerato as Senior Manager and Toby Daniel as a Senior Analyst, while founding partner Chris Chamberlain will join RSM as Senior Consultant.
Established over 30 years ago, ChamberlainsSBR provides personal and corporate insolvency services to the local community in Wagga Wagga, Albury, Dubbo and Wangaratta.
Commenting on the integration into RSM, Priest said: “The merger with RSM strengthens the services we can provide to regional NSW and regional Victoria businesses and individuals who are seeking restructuring and insolvency assistance.”
Andrew Bowcher, partner in the Restructuring business of RSM in Wagga Wagga, said the addition of the boutique will bolster the firm’s services in the insolvency and turnaround domain. “ChamberlainsSBR’s motto, ‘in stressful times you need trusted advisors’, resonates with RSM as this is exactly what we seek to provide our clients around Australia.”
With 32 offices across Australia, RSM is one Australia’s larger accounting and advisory networks. Last year, the group acquired Granleese McEwen, a boutique firm specialised in the agricultural sector of New South Wales.
