Kyndryl promotes Kimberley Marlay to Head of Strategic Partnerships & Alliances
Kyndryl has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Kimberley Marlay as Head of Strategic Partnerships and Alliances for Australia and New Zealand.
In her new role, based out of Sydney, Kimberley Marlay is responsible for leading and growing the organisation’s local channel ecosystem, which includes hyperscaler partners Microsoft, AWS, and Google Cloud, as well as identifying opportunities to work with partners to bolster Kyndryl’s capabilities across its six technology practices.
Marlay was most recently the Head of Marketing for Kyndryl in Australia and New Zealand. In that role, she played an important role in building the Kyndryl brand locally following its establishment as an independent company in late 2021.
Before joining Kyndryl, Marlay spent more than a decade at IBM across a number of senior roles, latterly leading the development and execution of the company’s Account Based Marketing (ABM) strategy across Asia-Pacific. She also spent four years at the creative agency Ogilvy, where she worked with organisations of all shapes and sizes to develop brand strategies across multiple markets.
Marlay also managed her own marketing consulting business for several years.
“Kimberley not only has a deep understanding of where our customers are on their technology transformation roadmaps, but also has built strong relationships with many of our ecosystem partners over the past three years,” stated Kyndryl in a post op LinkedIn. “With strategic partnerships being an important engine of growth for Kyndryl, this winning combination makes her a perfect fit to lead our local Partnerships and Alliances team and unlock greater value for our customers.”
