HLCTech establishes Client Experience Office with senior Deloitte recruits
Technology consultancy HCLTech has recruited Deloitte’s Chris Collacott as its new Chief Client Officer to lead the establishment of a Client Experience Office for the A/NZ region.
A two-decade Deloitte veteran, Collacott crosses after previously serving as Deloitte Digital’s ServiceNow CX practice lead, and is joined by colleague Rachel McCloskey as director for client experience & innovation.
HCLTech described its newly-established Client Experience Office (CXO) as a strategic function designed to drive greater impact by redefining how the consultancy engages with its clients across the sales and delivery life-cycle.
“With their extensive expertise in human-centric service transformations and visionary leadership, Chris and Rachel will strengthen our client relationships and drive impactful business outcomes,” stated Sonia Eland, who took over as country leader late last year. “We’re excited for the incredible changes this function will bring and look forward to shaping the future of client engagement.”
Chris Collacott
Having kicked off his career with four years at Andersen Business Consulting in the UK, Collacott then joined the London branch of Deloitte in 2002, before later transferring with the firm to Sydney and being appointed head of digital marketing. He then spent a decade with Deloitte Digital, before his most recent role as Deloitte’s ServiceNow government & public sector lead for citizen services.
“I’m looking forward to working with clients and teams to navigate the future with people-centred, tech-powered approaches to innovation, delivery, and operations,” Collacott said. “By bringing these elements together, we aim to authentically showcase our rich engineering heritage, digital expertise, and unwavering commitment to client success and innovation in the A/NZ region.”
Rachel McCloskey
McCloskey meanwhile joined Deloitte Digital as a senior manager in Sydney in early 2022, after previously spending four years at PwC following a law/arts double at Monash University. Less than a decade into her career, McCloskey now steps up as a director at HCLTech to lead the CXO’s innovation function, tasked with “pioneering new ways to drive impact” for clients and partners
“I’m thrilled to join and build the CXO with Chris, elevating how we bring this deep expertise and passion for innovation,” McCloskey stated. “This role perfectly brings together my experience in customer strategy, product, and transformation with my passion for creating environments where diverse teams thrive. When collaboration flows, innovation happens, and then magic follows.”
