Jonathon Wetton joins data consultancy Revenite as Chief Technology Officer
Data specialist Revenite has appointed Big Four consultant Jonathon Wetton as its new Chief Technology Officer.
Based out of Melbourne, Revenite is a specialist data & analytics consultancy firm offering its clients expertise in areas such as advisory, data science, operational analytics, data migration and governance, and artificial intelligence. The consulting firm was founded in 2017 and has a team of around 30 consultants and staff.
“Revenite are one of Australia’s leading data engineering companies, with a hard-won reputation for data engineering and data services work in Databricks, Snowflake and Fabric environments,” said Jonathon Wetton, who joined the firm at the start of October, in a move that coincided with his relocation from Dubai back to Australia.
“In my new role as Chief Technology Officer, I’ll be particularly focused on helping clients build great data services, operating data governance, implementing data privacy and ensuring AI, insights and analyst teams have the right tools, pipelines and governance to drive data as an asset for their organisations.”
In Dubai, Wetton served as Director of PwC’s Data & Analytics practice. Before that, he held a similar role at family-owned retailer Alshaya Group. Before his relocation to the Middle East, he spent over five years at Capgemini Invent, and worked for ERP vendor SAP as well as analytics vendors SAS and Real World Data.
