US consultancy Connors Group taps Stacey Kavanagh to lead APAC

US-based workforce management consultancy Connors Group has appointed former PwC’er Stacey Kavanagh as its new Asia Pacific regional leader out of Sydney.
Established in 2008 and based out of Pittsburgh, Connors Group describes itself as a management and industrial engineering consultancy specialising in human capital management and workforce productivity. The firm has been serving clients in Australia since 2018, but only officially instituted its APAC practice in 2023.
Responsibility for driving the growth of the APAC branch has now been given to Kavanagh, who crosses to the firm after the past three years as a payroll advisory director at PwC in Sydney and earlier time spent at fellow international workforce management advisory Axsium Group, where she served as APAC director.
“We are thrilled to welcome Stacey to Connors Group as we continue to strengthen our presence in the region,” stated president and CEO Jeff Peretin. “Her deep expertise in workforce management and strategic consulting, coupled with her ability to drive transformation, will be invaluable in delivering high-impact solutions for our clients.”
Connors Group originally sprung out of workforce performance advisory HB Maynard, which was sold to Accenture in 2007, with Peretin and the firm’s principal consultants having previously served at Maynard. Today, Connors has a headcount in excess of 150 professionals, with the firm receiving backing from RLH Equity Partners at the time of its APAC expansion.
“We are excited to bring our proven methodology and strategies from North America to Australia and the wider APAC market,” director Robert Eichfeld said upon Connor’s arrival downunder. “Our blended team of local and international experts will collaborate closely with clients to identify areas for improvement and provide practical solutions.”
Having completed more than 1,000 assignments since its inception, Connors Group focuses its diverse portfolio of complementary services on industries such as retail, supply chain, manufacturing, fast food, and the public sector, with Walgreens, Home Depot, FedEx, and Lululemon among its US-based Fortune 500 clients.
Speaking on her appointment, Kavanagh said; “Workforce management is at the heart of organisational success, and I'm excited to work with our talented team to deliver innovative and actionable solutions that drive efficiency, productivity, and employee satisfaction. Our goal is to empower businesses to make data-driven decisions that enable their long-term success.”
