EY partner Timothy Dalton joins Modoras as leader of Tax advisory business

Following 18 year at EY, Timothy Dalton has crossed to Modoras, where he will lead the firm’s Tax advisory business.

Timothy Dalton has over 25 years of experience in taxation across the public and private sectors, with expertise in areas such as cross-border taxation, tax disputes, risk management, tax aligned supply chain and tax technology.

During his time at EY, he served as a partner in both the United States and Australia. During his decade in the United States, he held roles in New York, Washington DC, and Silicon Valley, leading engagements for Australian and US clients, including high-net-worth individuals and multinational corporate groups. He relocated back to Australia in 2016.

Dalton has also pioneered innovative tax technology solutions by leveraging emerging technologies and forming strategic alliances with global firms such as SAP. His track record includes working with leading organisations, including Goldman Sachs, Cisco, IBM, Microsoft, and Boeing.

As Tax Service Line Leader, Dalton will oversee the tax advisory division of Modoras, which has teams across the firm’s offices in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney, and Melbourne. He will collaborate closely with the accounting, business advisory, wealth management, and audit teams to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
