Mark D’Angelica joins Grant Thornton as partner in Adelaide office

Grant Thornton has strengthened its Corporate Tax team with a new partner: Mark D’Angelica.
Based in the firm’s Adelaide office, Mark D’Angelica brings nearly 20 years of experience as a tax specialist gained in professional services and in industry. He joins from BDO, where he was a director. Before that, he worked at Beach Energy and EY, among others.
D’Angelica advises executive teams, board members and shareholders on a broad range of taxation matters, including income tax, stamp duty, GST and VAT, transfer pricing, and employment taxes.
He has extensive expertise in the oil & gas sector, particularly regarding the application of the Petroleum Resource Rent Tax (PRRT) legislation, state ad valorem royalties, excise regime, and income tax matters affecting organisations within the energy, resources, and renewables sector.
