FTI adds Mark Gossington to leadership team of Risk & Investigations practice

Global consulting firm FTI Consulting has welcomed Mark Gossington to its leadership team in Sydney.

Appointed a Senior Managing Director (the equivalent of senior partner at partner-led consultancies), Mark Gossington brings more than 25 years of experience in risk management and remediation to FTI Consulting. He becomes a member of the Risk & Investigations practice.

Gossington previously spent two decades in the consulting sector, working in the Advisory wings of PwC and KPMG. At both Big Four firms, he was a partner. Gossington has extensive experience leading risk engagements and remediation programmes that have helped his clients strengthen resilience under regulatory scrutiny, recover from misconduct issues and build compliance frameworks that stand up to enforcement and market shifts. 

Based out of Sydney since 2017, Gossington has expertise across Australian and UK regulatory requirements, compliance obligations and risk management frameworks.

In his role at FTI Consulting, he will focus on helping financial services clients in Australia and the Asia Pacific region navigate complex governance, risk management and compliance issues in the face of regulatory-driven change.
