CYLAD appoints energy expert Jaco Vosloo to Australian partner team
International management consulting firm CYLAD has kicked off the month with a new partner in Australia: Jaco Vosloo.
Based in the firm’s Sydney office, Jaco Vosloo has more than 20 years of experience across oil & gas, energy infrastructure and energy transition, across government and private sectors.
At CYLAD, he becomes a member of the Energy & Utilities practice, and will play a key role in accelerating the arm in the Australian market. His appointment coincides with several other senior recruits from CYLAD to boost its energy capability, including in Europe and North America.
“I am excited to join the firm as it grows globally, and I will be working with a fantastic team to help grow our Australian operations and work with our clients, with a particular focus across the energy, utilities and industrial sectors.,” said Vosloo.
Before joining CYLAD, Vosloo spent six years at Deloitte as Director in the Infrastructure & Industrials practice, where he advised defence and private sector clients on the challenges posed by the rapidly evolving fuel industry, including organisational readiness, supply chain and infrastructure resilience and positioning for the energy transition.
Before that, he spent more than four years at Eneos, Japan’s largest oil refiner and marketer, as Chief Operating Officer and General Manager Supply for its Australian fuels marketing and distribution subsidiary. There, he held executive responsibility for end-to-end supply chain operations, operational excellence, commercial fuel supply agreements and relevant M&A due diligence and business integration activities.
Earlier in his career, he joined Ampol (formerly Caltex), where he held several senior leadership roles including National Biofuels Supply Manager, State Operations Manager, and National Business Development Manager for Mining.
