Tech consultancy iCatalyst adds two new executives in national expansion bid
Technology consultancy iCatalyst has welcomed Jason Cuolahan and Ulrich Theaart as delivery executives from Capgemini and DXC as the WA-founded firm continues its national expansion.
Cuolahan joins the Microsoft Dynamics specialist in Melbourne after almost a decade at DXC, while Theaart crosses to iCatalyst’s Perth HQ following eight years between Capgemini and its $233 million Empired acquisition, prior to which he also worked at ‘DXC’.
The pair reunite with iCatalyst co-founders Justin Martin, Dennis Chan, and Andrew Devitt, who all previously spent time in senior roles at DXC Eclipse before establishing the consultancy in Western Australia in 2021, and will help bolster its efforts toward East Coast expansion.
“These appointments reflect iCatalyst’s continued growth and our ambition to be the most specialised and experienced Microsoft Dynamics business applications partner in Australia,” said enterprise delivery general manager Zel Hilliar, also a DXC alum. “As we take on larger and more complex transformation programs, strengthening our expertise across our delivery teams is critical.”
Together, Theaart and Cuolahan bring over five decades worth of combined IT industry experience to the firm, with the majority of that time spent focused on the Microsoft suite. Most recently, Theaart served as a Dynamics business applications senior director at Capgemini, while Cuolahan has been a project director at DXC responsible for the delivery of major ERP implementations.
“The creation of these new executive roles reflects the evolving nature of ERP transformation projects and the increasing demand for strategic direction across complex programs,” Hilliar continued. “Ulrich and Jason have both led major transformation initiatives across their careers, and bring the experience and credibility required to support our customers through that journey.”
Among their earlier roles, Theaart was a director at Empired prior to its Capgemini pick up, while Cuolahan spent time at the Dialog Group, also since involved in a massive $325 million acquisition by NCS. Now they will be responsible for executive oversight across all aspects of iCatalyst’s projects, including as to strategic advisory, governance, delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
