Professional services firms in Brisbane and Sydney join GGI
Global professional services network Geneva Group International (GGI) has expanded its footprint in Australia with two new member firms.
Based in Brisbane, the Macro Group adds a team of 12 professionals to GGI’s headcount in the country. Founded in 1988, the Macro Group provides a range of services including accounting, tax, wealth forecasting & planning, advisory and superannuation. The firm works clients in a range of sectors, such as consumer products, real estate and professional services.
The Macro Group, which is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia & New Zealand (CAANZ), is led by Managing Director Nicole Bryant, formerly a partner at Big Four accounting and advisory firm PwC. She spent a total of 16 years at PwC, including five years as a partner, focusing on advising ASX listed and corporates companies on all Australian and international tax matters.
Meanwhile, in Sydney, Ageis Accounting and Tax has joined Geneva Group International. The company is led by three leaders – co-founders Stephen Jankelowitz and David Lechem and director Robert Moylan – and further comprises a team of 13 accountants, financial advisors and consultants.
The accounting team of Ageis offers a full range of advisory and compliance services in specialist accounting and audit. The firm’s tax experts provide services including tax advice and tax planning, income tax returns and tax compliance, corporate and ASIC compliance and philanthropy advice. Ageis also has dedicated team for legal and family office topics.
The Macro Group and Ageis Accounting and Tax become GGI’s sixth and seventh member firms in Australia – other associated firms are Rispin and Mott (Melbourne), Kelly+Partners Chartered Accountants (Parramatta, Penrith, Sydney and Wollongong), Westcourt Family Business Accountants (Perth), McCabe Curwood (Sydney) and Rosenfeld Kant (Sydney).
